Air Cool? Ceiling Fan

I’ve seen this fan throughout my whole life, and it is the most nostalgic childhood fan of all my fans. The fan is in a blue workshop attached to my grandparents house in Michigan. My grandpa got the fan from my grandma’s father’s house. I remember when I first saw this fan when I was around two years old. My grandpa has always kept the fan running and never turned it off (which is why the fan is so filthy). When I was five years old, I asked him if I could turn the fan off and on, but he refused, I think. When I was nine years old, I recorded a video of the fan, but the video was lost. When I was like 4 to 8 years old, I thought the fan had cane blades, but when I was like 9 years old, I thought the fan had stencil blades, then when I was 12 years old, I saw the fan turned off for the first time, and it had cane blades so I was right the first time. I actually thought the fan was dead so I asked him if I could keep it, but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to give it to me. Then sometime around the 2010’s he was planning to throw it away, and I happened to call at the time asking if I could keep it, and he told me he threw it away, so I was in tears, because I thought I was never going to see it again. But he decided he wanted to keep the fan after all, so he put the fan back in the workshop, and I didn’t even know it at the time. Unfortunately he broke the low profile light globe in the process of putting it back up. Then in late May, 2013, I went to visit my grandparents workshop again. I was originally going to install my Gulf Coast Showboat Series (since I thought he threw the original fan away) but then he told me he had the old one up in his workshop again, and I was surprised and excited! And it was running as well as ever, too. So I took a picture and made a video of the fan and showed it to you guys. My grandpa promises to give me the fan when he passes. And that’s the history of the fan.
