Wiring 12v Outlet, Lamp, Switch That Normally Are Used In 120v Systems. Part 2

Don’t fall into the idea that in your 12v system that you have to use specific switches, lamps, outlets. All I did was wire the same switches and outlets that are used in the normal 120v ac systems as 12v outlets, switches and used a 12v bulb in a standard normally used as 120v lamp. I had to break this video down into 2 parts so be sure to view both videos.

Part 1 explaining the wires and how to wire the components.

I look at wiring a standard outlet and switch that is used for 120v on grid systems to my 12v solar off grid system. I wired my shed and part of my barn with 12v wiring and used these standard 120v 15amp outlets, switches, lamp and ceiling light sockets to 12v to power a 7w 12v led light bulb.
The sockets are an E26 base which means it hold a standard base type of light bulb. I have some 7w 12 led light bulbs with that E26 base so lets wire those 120v electrical stuff up with just 12v.
The greatest thing is every where I looked the 12v lights, lamps, sockets, switches, etc all cost more money than these 1 dollar light switch and 1 dollar outlet from the hardware store.
