Clogged Bathtub Drain: How To Easily Clean Out A Clogged Tub Drain


Every drain collects hair. This video will show you how to unclog it. Watch to learn how to unclog a drain and remove stoppages made from hair, soap scum, and anything else that makes it into your bathtub drain.

There are two main stoppage areas in household bathrooms, and this video is about how to remove tub drains and tub drain clogs in lift and turn drain.

To remove it, close it and then loosen the drain by spinning it counterclockwise with pliers. Once the drain is removed, use needle nose pliers to remove the hair clogs, and soap scum buildup.

Once the stoppage is removed, put the drain back in by turning it clockwise until it fits snugly.

And that’s all there is to removing a stoppage from your bathtub drain without a plumber — and in less than two minutes!
